About us

AIM WATER FOUNDATION, founded in 2012 by Rev. Theophile R. and Aimable U, is dedicated to providing safe drinking water to rural communities in Rwanda and works under the Evangelical Reforming Churches of Rwanda (ERCR). Since our inception, we have donated 500 water filters to families in rural Western Rwanda, where women and children often walk miles to fetch and consume dirty water. This lack of access to clean water forces many children to drop out of school and places a financial strain on families due to medical bills. Inspired by Proverbs 19:17, "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done," we started with our modest resources and have since been joined by other Generous and Godly individuals. Today, with the support of Generous and Godly individuals, we continue to change lives by providing clean drinking water to those who cannot afford bottled water. We organize volunteer efforts, coordinate with local Churches, and engage in comprehensive community outreach to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of our initiatives, driven by our commitment to improving water quality and health in rural areas.
